Just one of those moments. While waiting for the bus to take the guitar club to a competition, this young man sat down and played some tunes for Coach Cooks. They shared some stories and coach told him that he had been a music major in college. My favorite line was "Will you sign my community service hours for playing for the elderly?" The jabs went back and forth between the two, but smiles on their faces remained the whole time.
