What a treat! Dr. Burger himself came to speak to us during our AVID field trip to Southwestern University in Georgetown, TX. Southwestern is a high quality liberal arts school led by President Burger, who has really revitalized the campus via his social media use and dedication to teaching. He even teaches a problem solving class himself. I could tell the kids had a great time getting to visit a new place!
